Posted by ***** on 12/17/2007 Well, I find that if you`re, having problems with customers saying the price is too much, use a calculator to work out the right price (eg. if a potion is 50% get exactly in the middle of the typical price range), and take a dollar off. I get those yellow happy face things all the time. Also, upgrade the potion maker and in-store entertainment and you can sell it for way more money. Posted by Karina on 11/13/2007 Spend as much money on research as you can in the beginning (about 200, even 300 if you can afford it). The first potion given in the beginning is always a small profit maker (max 30 beans or so). If youre the first to research a potion, you can sell it for a much higher price, seeing as youre the only supplier in town. Borrow as much as you can from the Loan Shark once youve researched a potion, buy a lot of supplies for that potion, then sell it off at a price with about 5-10 (depends on forecast) more beans than you normally would. Its a fast money-maker, and then you can pay the Loan Shark back (gradually), as you start getting more money. If there is another potion to research after the first one, invest about 150 in it. Posted by me on 09/09/2007 Place a troll in front of the competitors shop, then when a costumer wants to go inside, the troll persuades them to go to yours! Posted by Tye on 05/26/2007 If youre in bankrupt and have the biggest loan with the shark, then dont worry the fairy will pay it off but only once per each town. Posted by caitlyn on 05/21/2007 Hit towns with as many upgrades, giant lazy babies in competitors store entrances, ample supplies with oh hush and elephant drop spells. Match price to percentage and use freelancers help. Try not to get in debt with loan shark. Posted by charliemeeks on 04/12/2007 place a hired goon outside your oppositions shop, so when the customers go to enter it, the goon will tell them to go to your shop!
